The book doesn’t ‘teach’ the reader about alternative families. It simply includes them like any other story book about a mummy and daddy would. One of the nice things about children’s books is that they build self-confidence by normalising children's experiences. Everyone should have a chance to see their family represented in the books they read, however many mums or dads they have. All families should be celebrated, and all children should be taught that families come in so many different combinations.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"MediaPlace","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57318345933182,"sku":"NW9780993557972","price":9.47,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0817\/1379\/1261\/files\/9780993557972.jpg?v=1778724237","url":"https:\/\/mediaplace.com\/products\/me-mummy-mum","provider":"MediaPlace","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
