48 Hrs Double Feature

Double bill of US action comedies starring Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. In '48 Hours' (1982) hard-nosed San Francisco cop Jack Cates (Nolte) springs prison inmate Reggie Hammond (Murphy) from jail for just 48 hours to help him catch the perpetrators of a cop shooting. Cates knows that he can rely on Reggie's assistance, as the killers are now heading for the half-million stash of dollars for which the jailbird went down in the first place. In 'Another 48 Hours' (1990) Cates is reluctantly forced to once again spring con Reggie Hammond from jail when a drug baron known as the Iceman decides that he wants Reggie dead. And just like their original pairing, the duo only have 48 hours to bring the criminal to justice.
