Afraid

John Cho stars in this horror thriller written and directed by Chris Weitz. When his marketing firm wins a contract with a tech company, Curtis (Cho) must install their new product, a digital home assistant created using artifical intelligence, in his own home. At first AIA (voice of Havana Rose Liu) is an asset to Curtis and his family but as she begins to learn more about them and anticipate their needs, Curtis becomes increasingly concerned by her actions. When it becomes clear that AIA will do whatever she must to ensure her continued existence, Curtis realises that his entire family is in danger. The cast also includes Katherine Waterston, David Dastmalchian and Keith Carradine.
