Alexander The Warrior Saint

Russian historical drama which brings to life the struggles of Prince Alexander Yaroslavich to defend and consolidate his power amidst the chaos of the medieval age. Alexander (Anton Pampushny) finds himself in a position of leadership while still a teenager and faces a number of threats to his rule. His kingdom of Novgorod is coveted by both the Swedes and the Germans; enemies of great power who will provide a stern test of the young Alexander's leadership skills and military cunning. However, as well as his fierce rivalry with foreign leaders, such as the King of Sweden (Valeri Kukhareshin), Alexander faces internal threats to his rule.
