Set in the year 2045, the film follows LAPD cop Detective Hammond (White) as he ventures into the Zone, a quarantined section of the city ravaged by a deadly radioactive disease, where its inhabitants live in exile among criminal gangs. Along with his new android partner (Randy Wayne), who he deeply distrusts, Hammond scours the Zone in search of the city mayor's missing daughter as part of a top-secret case that leads him to the root of a government conspiracy.
