John Landis directs this action comedy sequel starring Eddie Murphy. Axel Foley (Murphy)'s boss is gunned down in a bungled raid in Detroit and Axel swears to catch the killers. The trail leads him once again to Beverly Hills, this time to a huge theme park run by the head of a private security firm. When Axel discovers the theme park is printing counterfeit money, however, he realises the criminals behind the illicit scheme have powerful connections.
