During a career that spanned over 50 years she produced more than 40 works including novels, short story collections, dramas, poetry, biographies and memoirs. Her personal diary entries are read by Jessie Buckley and Declan Conlon and interviews with her family, friends, peers and critics also feature alongside archival footage.
