When musician Vicki Robbins (Suzanna Leigh) is sent to recuperate on an island resort after collapsing from exhaustion, she meets resort owner Ralph Hargrove (Guy Doleman) and his wife Mary (Catherine Finn), who seem to be suffering marital issues. Just as Vicki is settling in to her tense surroundings, however, the island is thrown into chaos when a swarm of killer bees claim a life.
