Happy End

Vladimír Mensík stars in this Czechoslovakian black comedy co-written and directed by Oldrich Lipsky. The film follows the life of Bedrich Frydrych (Mensík) in reverse, from his birth where he is executed by guillotine to his childhood spent in prison and his subsequent search for a wife, who he must assemble from multiple pieces because he killed and dismembered her after discovering that she was having an affair. The cast also includes Jaroslava Obermaierová and Josef Abrhám.
