Mike Watt, legendary bassist behind Minutemen, Dos, Firehose and so much more, is the latest (and one of the most surprising) to release a cover of a Squeeze song for Record Store Day. Mike teams up with his Secondmen for a cover of the lead-off track from Squeeze's 1981 album East Side Story, 'In Quintessence'. This is the fifth installment of the Swindles series and was engineered and mixed by Squeeze-aficionado Steve Mandel. This is the first time this cover has ever been made available and will be released as a 45 single with the cover on the A-side and the instrumental version of the cover on the B-side.
