Brazilian documentary in which film-maker Eduardo Coutinho examines the life and death of peasant leader Joao Pedro Teixeira who was killed in 1962. After his initial attempts to make the film are ended by the military coup in 1964, Coutinho revisits his footage 20 years later and sets out to finally complete the project in 1984.
