No Hard Feelings

German coming-of age drama directed by Faraz Shariat. Following a minor violation of the law, confident 20-something Parvis (Benny Radjaipour) must serve 120 hours of community service at a local refugee detention centre. Despite some of the newly arrived immigrants mocking Parvis about his sexuality he finds himself connecting with many of the people there, as the son of Iranian exiles, Parvis recognises their struggles. In particular, Parvis strikes up a bond with the reserved Amon (Eidin Jalali), whose sister Banafshe (Banafshe Hourmazdi) also resides at the centre. As romance blossoms between Parvis and Amon, all three learn from one another as they set about determining a future they can believe in.
