Pearl Harbor

Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale and Josh Hartnett star in this romantic drama directed by Michael Bay. Rafe McCawley (Affleck) is an American pilot whose determination to fly against the enemy leads him to Europe where he sees active service in the Battle of Britain. His girlfriend Evelyn (Beckinsale) is left behind at the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii where she receives word that Rafe has been killed in action. Heartbroken, she is comforted by Rafe's best friend and fellow pilot Danny (Hartnett) and romance soon blossoms between them. However, Rafe survived being shot down and as he makes his way back to Evelyn at Pearl Harbor, the Japanese prepare to attack... The cast also includes Cuba Gooding Jr., Jon Voight and Tom Sizemore.
