Slingshot

Mikael Håfström directs this sci-fi thriller starring Casey Affleck and Laurence Fishburne. Astronaut John (Affleck) is on board Odyssey 1 travelling to Saturn's moon Titan. As the mission will take several years, the astronauts must spend the majority of their time in hibernation cycles. As John wakes from his latest cycle, he finds his memory starting to fade, a side effect of the hibernation drugs. His colleague Nash (Tomer Capone) declares his doubts about their ship's ability to perform the slingshot manouvre to project them towards Titan and insists that they should instead return to Earth without delay. Leader of the mission Captain Franks (Fishburne) dismisses Nash's concerns and the mission is soon compromised with mutiny on the cards. With John's hibernation drugs causing him to hallucinate, he soon struggles to distinguish between imagination and reality.
