Mary Ryan and Mick Lally star in this Irish folk horror written and directed by Robert Wynne-Simmons. When the mysterious traveller and shaman Scarf Michael (Lally) arrives in an isolated community in pre-famine Ireland, he finds a kindred spirit in Maura (Ryan), a strange and quiet farm girl. However, it is not long before every misfortune that befalls the village is blamed on Maura and she soon stands accused of witchcraft.
