Upright Series 1-2

All 16 episodes from the first two seasons of the Australian comedy drama starring Tim Minchin, who also co-writes, as Lucky Flynn, a musician who gets news about his estranged mother being ill and travels through the desert with his piano back to his home city of Perth. Following a car crash, Lucky meets gutsy teenager Meg (Milly Alcock), who also happens to be on her way to Perth, and the unlikely duo pair up to cross the Australian outback together. In the second season, three years have passed when Lucky and Meg team up again, travelling to northern Queensland on a quest to find Meg's mother who abandoned her years ago. Meanwhile, Lucky's past is catching up with him, despite his best efforts to avoid it.
