Richard Burton stars in this thriller directed by Anthony Page. Father Goddard (Burton) is a priest at a Catholic boys' boarding school who falls prey to the mind games of two of his students, Benji Stanfield and Arthur Dyson (Dominic Guard and Dai Bradley). Aware of the sanctity of confession, Benji confesses to Father Goddard that he has killed a man called Blakey (Billy Connolly).
