Tess is engaged to Ryan Volvo (Mark Harmon) but Anna is struggling to come to terms with their upcoming wedding and the death of her father three years ago. When the magic in two fortune cookies causes the mother and daughter to switch bodies, they are forced to navigate each other's lives.
