The Eric Sykes Collection

Collection of short comedies written and directed by Eric Sykes, in which he also stars. Featured guest stars include Tommy Cooper, Spike Milligan, Bernard Cribbins, Diana Dors, Joanna Lumley and Lionel Blair. In 'The Plank' (1979), two construction workers encounter a series of problems caused by a single piece of wood. 'Rhubarb Rhubarb' (1980) follows a police inspector and a vicar who engage in a game of golf in which fair play is virtually non-existent. In 'If You Go Down in the Woods Today' (1981), chaos ensues when a scoutmaster and one of his scouts become lost in the woods while camping. 'It's Your Move' (1982) follows the misadventures of an incompetent removal team who have been hired to help a young married couple move into their new home. Finally, in 'Mr H Is Late' (1988), inept undertakers create havoc on the day of Mr H's funeral.
