The Mirror Crackd

Angela Lansbury stars as amateur detective Miss Marple in this mystery based on the novel by Agatha Christie. Excitement runs high when feuding film stars Marina Rudd (Elizabeth Taylor) and Lola Brewster (Kim Novak) arrive in the sleepy English village of St Mary Mead to begin work on a movie about Mary, Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I. However, when an innocent bystander dies at a party after drinking a poisoned cocktail, the excitement turns to horror. Everyone assumes the drink was intended for Marina but Inspector Craddock (Edward Fox) is unsure who is responsible for the crime and asks Miss Marple, his aunt, to help. As more people die, can she solve the case? The cast also includes Rock Hudson, Tony Curtis and Geraldine Chaplin.
