The Railroad Man Limited Edition

Pietro Germi directs and stars in this Italian drama also starring Luisa Della Noce. After he witnesses the suicide of a man who jumps onto the tracks in front of him, train driver Andrea Marcocci (Germi) is deeply affected and his already troubled life begins to unravel completely. When he turns to alcohol and begins making mistakes at work, he is demoted and forced to accept a decrease in salary. This only exacerbates the widening gulf between Andrea and his wife Sara (Della Noce) and their adult children. Meanwhile, Andrea's youngest son Sandro (Edoardo Nevola) is forced to bear witness to the slow disintegration of his family. The cast also includes Sylva Koscina and Renato Speziali.
