When he is framed for murder by his cousin Roger (Peter Blythe), Robin de Courtenay is forced to go into hiding in Sherwood Forest. With the Sheriff of Nottingham (John Arnatt) intent on seizing Robin's family estate, Robin gathers together a band of outlaws to fight back against Roger and the corrupt sheriff.
