Volume 2 of the British and Commonwealth Armies series offers a complete guide to the organisation and order-of-battle of British and Commonwealth armies from late 1943 to 1945. The five chapters cover all main theatres of war - North-West Europe; the Mediterranean; the Far East, Australasia and India; planned invasions of Malaya and Japan; and Special Forces (all theatres). ToEs (Tables of Organisation and Equipment) are given for all main, and many minor, types of formations in each theatre - from the 7th Armoured Division in North-West Europe 1944–45 to Indian infantry formations in the Far East, British SAS and SBS units in Europe and the Mediterranean, and British infantry formations in North-West Europe.
