Fanny Hill The Complete Mini Series

Rebecca Night stars as the eponymous character in this BBC adaptation of the novel by John Cleland. After her parents die of smallpox, Fanny is left alone and must fend for herself. In London she begins working for Mrs Brown (Alison Steadman), who runs a brothel, but when she falls in love with Charles Standing (Alex Robertson), she believes that she has finally found happiness. However, they will have to overcome many obstacles if they are going to be together.
