Ghostbusters Frozen Empire / Afterlife

Double bill of supernatural comedy adventure sequels. In 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' (2021) single mother Callie Spengler (Carrie Coon) and her two children must take refuge in her late father's derelict farmhouse in rural Oklahoma after being evicted. When a few unexplained earthquakes are linked to an old mine nearby, the children learn the truth about their grandfather's history as a Ghostbuster. Three years later in 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' (2024), the Spengler family have moved to New York to join forces with Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and reestablish the Ghostbusters. When a demonic entity with plans for world domination escapes from its prison and freezes the city, Ghostbusters young and old must work together if there is any hope of protecting New York and saving the world.
