Jon Oigarden stars in this Norwegian drama based on the real life mission to prevent Norway's gold reserves from falling into Nazi hands during WWII. When Germany invaded Norway in April 1940, the Nazis sought to capture the royal family, the government and the country's gold, all of which were based in Oslo. Fredrik Haslund (Oigarden), a resourceful secretary for the Labor Party, is tasked with evacuating Norway's gold before it can fall into enemy hands. As Nazi troops close in, Haslund will need help from ordinary civilians as well as the military and Allied forces if he is to have any hope of success. The cast also includes Sven Nordin, Anatole Taubman and Eivind Sander.
