Good Fortune

Aziz Ansari writes, directs and stars in this fantasy comedy also starring Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen. Arj (Ansari) is struggling to do more than just get by and when his car, in which he has been living, is towed, he hits rock bottom. This captures the attention of Gabriel (Reeves), a low-level guardian angel who attempts to help Arj by swapping his life with that of Jeff (Rogen), a venture capitalist who had previously employed Arj to be his assistant for a week. Gabriel hopes to show Arj that money won't solve his problems but when they are in fact solved by Jeff's wealth, Arj refuses to switch back. Gabriel loses his wings and is sent to Earth to live as a human as punishment while Arj continues to live Jeff's life. Can Gabriel find a way to undo the chaos he has unwittingly caused?
