Heartland Rock & Roll

'Heartland Rock and Roll' is a sound forged by growing up in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma and building a life on the Texas plains. It's a faded pair of stonewashed jeans, a Sunday ride on a motorbike, and a hat-down-low cowboy song around a campfire. It's a cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise. It's a deep breath as you take in the sunset on the great wide open. It's a way of living life unaffected by the trends. It's being ok with standing out when the crowds just trying to fit in. It's the perfect blend of gratitude and ambition. It's watching your kids drink from the hose and sitting around talking life with a few good friends. It's holding the hand of the girl you love and knowing that the grass ain't greener because it ain't yours. It pulls influences from all over. From the Eagles and CCR, to Mellencamp and Springsteen. From Stapleton to Chief and Kings of Leon to Turnpike. It's the common thread of the rattle of a beat up, hand-me-down guitar, the sting of a telecaster, and the pulsing of the drums delivering honest, unfiltered songs about real life. 'Heartland Rock and Roll' is embracing the simple, everyday life, knowing it's a life worth living. It's choosing peace of mind because it's just worth more to you than fame and fortune. It's rolling the windows down and getting lost in the moment. It's music for real people living real life. The ups. The downs. And the in-betweens.
