Charles Dance and Cassie Stuart star in this thriller written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff. After researcher Sharon Newton (Stuart) supplies academic James Richards (Dance) with the wrong film for a lecture, he demands that she be fired. When she finds a piece of film which appears to show a woman being abducted by government agents, she seeks his assistance in identifying the victim. The two of them are soon embroiled in a dangerous mystery involving long-buried secrets which those in power would prefer remained hidden. The cast also includes Bill Paterson and Richard E. Grant.
