I Am A Squirrel

Join in with imaginary play through the eyes of a little boy who believes he IS a squirrel!  ‘The hardest part of being a squirrel . . . is that my brother won’t play with me. Because he doesn’t believe I am a squirrel!’  The younger brother likes doing everything a squirrel does – running, jumping, collecting nuts, having squirrel friends and playing with his family. But his older brother refuses to join in with his play – he thinks it’s too silly. But eventually, after much squabbling between the two, the older brother can’t resist joining in . . . perhaps it’s time for a predator to join the game!  Packed with humour and fun, I am a Squirrel is a hilarious escapade about two brothers and their up-and-down relationship, told through Scott Rothman’s clever writing and Tom Tinn-Disbury’s lovable characters.  This ode to imaginative play will inspire playtime and ensure both parents and children will be laughing-out-loud, too.
