In The Mouth Of Madness

Sam Neill and Jürgen Prochnow star in this supernatural horror directed by John Carpenter. When lauded horror author Sutter Cane (Prochnow) disappears shortly before the publication of his next novel, his publisher Jackson Harglow (Charlton Heston) hires insurance investigator John Trent (Neill) to find him. Together with Cane's editor Linda Styles (Julie Carmen), John follows a map which appears to lead to the fictional town from Cane's books. Though he initially believes the entire situation has been staged to generate publicity for Cane's new book, John soon discovers that the boundaries between fiction and reality are blurring and he fears that evil forces are going to destroy the world. The cast also includes David Warner, John Glover and Frances Bay.
