Ken Marshall stars in this sci-fi fantasy adventure directed by Peter Yates. On the planet Krull, Prince Colwyn (Marshall) and Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony) are due to marry and unite their kingdoms so that they can face the Beast and his army of Slayers together. However, the Slayers attack during the wedding and decimate Krull's forces. Colwyn is badly wounded and Lyssa is kidnapped but Colwyn vows to rescue her. After he learns that the Beast can be defeated with a magical weapon called the Glaive, he sets out to find it and then travels in search of the Beast's Black Fortress. Accompanied by a fellowship of brave companions, can he save Lyssa and slay the Beast?
