Ten years after Max (voice of Yuichi Nakamura) succeeded in defeating the Demon Lord (Naomi Ozora), that same Demon Lord reincarnates in the form of a young boy. Eager to exact revenge, the Demon Lord hunts Max down but is shocked to discover that he has become an unemployed layabout. Disgusted, the Demon Lord decides to move in with Max and train him to become the hero he once was in preparation for their eventual rematch.
