Man Of Steel

Zack Snyder directs this superhero action adventure based on the DC Comics characters. After being sent to Earth by his parents to prevent him from dying during the destruction of his home planet Krypton, an infant boy is taken in by Kansas farmer Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and his wife Martha (Diane Lane), who name the boy Clark. As he grows to adulthood and discovers the extent of the powers he possesses, Clark (Henry Cavill) explores the nature of his origins and strives to find his place in the world. When an evil force threatens Earth and all its inhabitants, Clark takes on the mantle of Superman and fights to save mankind from annihilation. The cast also includes Amy Adams, Michael Shannon and Laurence Fishburne.
