Double bill of Japanese horror dramas written and directed by Keishi Kondo. 'New Religion' (2022) follows Miyabi (Kaho Seto) who is grieving the loss of her young daughter in a tragic accident. To support herself she begins working as an escort and soon meets a client who wants to photograph her body piece by piece. With each photograph he takes, she begins to feel her daughter's spirit reaching out to her, but is it really happening or is it all in her mind? The spin-off short film 'Neu Mirrors' (2025) expands on a scene from 'New Religion'. Aizawa (Daiki Nunami) wakes in a hotel room with no memory of how he got there and discovers a photo album full of pictures. There are pictures of strangers but also pictures of him and soon his life descends into a nightmare.
