Depressed writer Osamu (voice of Hiroshi Kamiya) and his girlfriend Sacchan (Reina Ueda) make a pact to die together but during the attempt, Osamu is transported to another world. Annette (Rumi Okubo), the elf who summoned him, was seeking a hero, but Osamu has no desire to oblige her. However, when he realises that Sacchan might also have arrived in this strange new world as well, he hopes to find her so that they can fulfil their pact.
