Paul Reubens stars as the eponymous character in this comedy adventure directed by Tim Burton. Childlike Pee-wee Herman loves his bicycle and when it is stolen, he is convinced his neighbour and nemesis Francis Buxton (Mark Holton) is responsible for the crime. Desperate to find it, he embarks on a journey that takes him across the country to the Alamo Mission in San Antonio, Texas and later to Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. Along the way he encounters a fraudulent psychic, a fugitive convict, a biker gang and a phantom trucker, but will he be reunited with his prized bicycle at the end of his quest? The cast also includes Elizabeth Daily, Diane Salinger and Judd Omen.
