Pierre Huyghe By Mouna Mekouar Anne S

Pierre Huyghe is considered one of the most radical contemporary artists. His extensive works are conceived as speculative fictions challenging our perception of reality and consciousness. This publication, released on the occasion of the artist’s solo exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler, is not a classical catalogue of works. Instead of a documentary overview, it offers a unique and fascinating “mental journey.” The book combines images and research on recent works with sketches, notes, and text fragments. A cluster of ideas and images in which we can navigate through, reflecting the creative process. A visual archive exploring Huyghe’s complex universe.
