Proof Of The Man Limited Edition

Yûsaku Matsuda and George Kennedy star in this Japanese drama directed by Junya Satô. Johnny Hayward (Joe Yamanaka) travels from New York to Tokyo but he is killed soon after his arrival in a hotel hosting a fashion show by designer Kyoko Yasugi (Mariko Okada). Detective Munesue (Matsuda) begins investigating and comes to suspect that Kyoko knows more about the crime than she is saying. To learn more about Johnny, Munesue flies to New York and joins forces with NYPD Detective Ken Shuftan (Kennedy) to uncover the truth but in the process, he must confront painful memories from his own past. The cast also includes Toshirô Mifune, Robert Earl Jones and Kôichi Iwaki.
