Roadkill

Four-part miniseries written by David Hare and starring Hugh Laurie as self-made politician and aspiring Prime Minister Peter Laurence in this British political thriller. Having just received a promotion in the Cabinet Laurence has no time to celebrate as he is informed about a secret from his past that may threaten to put an end to his political career. Despite the turmoil in his private life Laurence continues to consolidate his position in Government as he eyes the top job but with a growing list of enemies it may only be a matter of time before Laurence will have to face the consequences of his previous actions.
