Shy high school student Kenji Koiso (voice of Ryûnosuke Kamiki) is invited by Natsuki Shinohara (Nanami Sakuraba) to attend her great-grandmother's 90th birthday celebration. When he arrives at her family's estate he is shocked to be introduced as her fiancé but their budding romance is soon interrupted. Kenji receives a mysterious text message containing a mathematical problem and he can't resist solving it. This enables a dangerous artificial intelligence to create havoc in the virtual reality world of OZ, which has serious implications for the real world.
