Double bill of animated adventures based on the Nintendo video game. In 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' (2023), when his brother Luigi (voice of Charlie Day) is kidnapped by fire-breathing Koopa Bowser (Jack Black), New York plumber Mario (Chris Pratt) sets out to save him. Teaming up with Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen) and the Kong army, Mario joins the battle to save the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser's Koopa and Goomba armies as he fights his way across the kingdom to rescue Luigi. In the sequel 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' (2026), Mario and Luigi put their problem-solving skills to the test as they attempt to reform the imprisoned Bowser. Along the way, Princess Peach's birthday party leads them on a galactic adventure and introduces them to Rosalina and Bowser Jr. (Brie Larson and Benny Safdie).
