Guitar Slim was an innovative blues guitarist celebrated for his wild stage act and distorted sound. His biggest success was 'The Things That I Used to Do' (1954), produced by a young Ray Charles and released through Art Rupe's Specialty Records. The song topped the Billboard R&B chart and sold over a million copies. This 30-track compilationcomprises all his A- and B-sides during the 1950s, recordings for the Imperial, J-B, Specialty and Atco labels.
