The Listeners

All four episodes of the British drama based on the novel by Jordan Tannahill. When English teacher Claire (Rebecca Hall) starts to hear a low hum, it soon begins to affect her both physically and mentally. No one is able to help her but when she discovers that her student Kyle (Ollie West) can also hear it, the two of them attempt to discover the source and try to understand what they are experiencing. However, they are increasingly isolated from their loved ones and tragedy ensues when they become involved with a group whose members also claim to hear it.
