Three / Three... Extremes Limited Editio

Double bill of horror anthologies each featuring three segments from Southeast Asian and East Asian directors. 'Three' (2002) includes: 'Memories' from South Korea's Kim Jee-woon which follows a man experiencing a severe trauma and a woman, his wife, who is attempting to find her way back to him; 'The Wheel' from Thailand's Nonzee Nimibutr in which the inhabitants of a remote village are terrorised by possessed puppets; and 'Going Home' from Hong Kong's Peter Ho-Sun Chan which follows a widowed policeman whose neighbour believes that he can resurrect his deceased wife. The sequel 'Three... Extremes' (2004) includes: 'Dumplings' from Hong Kong's Fruit Chan which follows an ageing actress so desperate to regain her youth and beauty that she consumes dumplings containing a shocking secret ingredient; 'Cut' from South Korea's Park Chan-wook in which a film director and his family are tormented by an extra who has appeared in all of his films; and 'Box' from Japan's Takashi Miike which follows a novelist who is haunted by her childhood trauma.
